FINCANTIERI, in Marghera "Goliath" the largest crane in Europe.
Almost 4000 tons of steel capable of lifting up to 800 tons of weight, the "Goliath" will represent a new record for port of Marghera, becoming the largest crane in Europe in terms of size / width. The goal is to make the production more efficient and generally improve the performance of the plant, allowing Fincantieri to build ships of gross tonnage up to approximately 150,000 tons and deliver a ship every 11 months.
